India's UK Mission Opens Condolence Book For Jayalalitha
"The High Commission of India in London will open a book of condolences at India House," it noted.

London: The Indian High Commission in London on Thursday opened a condolence book for NRIs wanting to pay tribute to former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha.

Jayalalitha, 67, passed away after suffering a heart attack late on Sunday night.

"With great sorrow, we would like to inform you of the passing away of Selvi J Jayalalithaa, Chief Minister of Indian State of Tamil Nadu," India House said in a statement today.

"The High Commission of India in London will open a book of condolences at India House," it noted.

The book will be available for tributes on Thursday and Friday between 1000 and 1200 and 1500 and 1700 GMT.
