But the functioning of the company was not affected, as we had made proper arrangements earlier itself,” said Deepan Parameswar, executive director, Kreata Global. According to sources, employees hailing from the Northern Kerala have taken leave on continuous days.Holidays were allotted on Wednesday and Thursday, but more leaves were granted to employees who had requested for it, Deepan added.“Not much activity is witnessed on the Infopark campus this week. Most of the companies in the park are either closed or halfclosed. A holiday mood prevails in here. The fullfledged functioning of the companies will begin only from next Monday,” said Toby Paulson, project leader, Geojit Technologies.However, for a few techies, who are working in the BPO sector and those working on project deadlines, there is not much to cheer about.
