Understanding of GodA divine force too simple to ignore, and too complex to fully understand, but your inner strength, inner voice and subconscious guiding light. More realistically, your parents are your gods and your soul is your faith.Religious practices and spiritual experiencesReligion and spirituality are close but not the same. Spiritually, your actions towards society and yourself are the foundations of your future. Born as a Hindu-religiously- I believe in the ancient rituals and various rites and deeds to justify my reason for birth-from the poonal (sacred thread) I wear, the gayathri mantra I chant for protection, to the cremation of the dead to the ashes on the forehead, which is a constant reminder that we are all just ash at the end of this human cycle. Also in Avadi, the Vaishnavi temple (where my grandfather was a priest) is a beautiful place of worship and still has a hand-drawn picture of Devi done by my father, RV Raman. But again, prayer is not about where you go as it is about why you go. At home is where it starts.Take on meditationIt's something that you discover on your own, I think. I meditate to Babaji and it's a moment in time that is priceless and never ending. Aum kriya babaji nama aum.Blaaze is a popular rapper who has worked with the likes of A R Rahman.
