I-T men quiz Mohanlal

KOCHI: The Income Tax officials quizzed actor Mohanlal at his residence here on Tuesday in connection with the I-T raids conducted on his residence and office premises in the past two days. According to I-T Department sources, a group of I-T officials reached Mohanlal’s residence at Thevara in the afternoon to collect certain information from him on the moveable and immoveable assets declared by him.  Mohanal reached his residence in the city on Tuesday morning. He was in Rameswaram for the shooting of ‘Pranayam’ when the I-T officials conducted simultaneous raids on his offices and residences in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Chennai. The raids were conducted on the premises of Mammootty and Mohanlal following information that they possessed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.The I-T officials prima facie found irregularities in their declared assets and have begun scrutiny of the documents seized during the raids.
