London: British reality TV star Jade Goody, who died in the public eye, will be laid to rest at a secret location in a bid to prevent her fans from descending on the site, a media report said on Friday.

Though Goody's funeral will be take place in a public place on Saturday, she is expected to be buried in an "unmarked plot in a secret location" as her family wanted her grave to be free from unwanted attention, the Daily Star reported.

Goody died on Mother's Day on March 22 after a battle with cancer.

The cortege carrying her coffin will travel from the undertakers FA Albin & Sons in Bermondsey, south London, to St John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. And the noon service would be broadcast on a screen outside the church for her fans.

As a large turnout is expected to pay their respects to Goody, mother of five-year-old Bobby and four-year-old

Freddie, two roads around the church will be closed for three hours between 1100 hrs GMT and 0200 hrs GMT to allow well-wishers to watch the service.

But, here's some good news for her fans! Council officials in Bermondsey, where Goody grew up, are to vote on whether the star should be remembered in her home town by a blue plaque.

What's your reaction?
