BANGALORE: Lokayukta Special Court adjourned the hearing of the bail application of the former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu to September 28 on Saturday.Meanwhile, the Lokayukta police filed objections before the court on the bail application filed by the counsel of Katta Subramanya Naidu. Public Prosecutor Pramod Chandra said that Naidu has claimed that he has been suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, hypertension, hypertension, Cervical spondylytis and also from non Hodgkin’s lymphoma a cancer. However, he did not prove it by submitting any documents, he argued.Pramod Chandra said that Naidu was diagnosed in 2004 with lymphoma and then he was very active in the politics and served as minister for four years too. But, once he was arrested, he is saying that he has to be granted bail on the medical grounds. “How it is possible that he has to be given bail on such grounds?” he questioned.He was treated in the Victoria Hospital as an inpatient in the VIP ward and best medical treatments are given to him, he argued and stressed that the court should not grant bail to him.Judge Sudheendra Rao said that the court has to verify the documents related to cancer disease and asked the medical report to be submitted before him on Monday. He also said that he will inquire the Superintendent of Victoria Hospital.
