HYDERABAD: Justice KG Shankar of the AP High Court on Wednesday adjourned to after the vacation to hear the claims of liquor licensees challenging an order on supply of liquor for the coming month.Retail liquor licensees from Nellore, Guntur and Prakasam districts moved the High court questioning the decision of the AP Beverages Corporation that the supply would be strictly in accordance with supply in the corresponding month of last year.The directions of the Corporation come in light of the Election Commission’s curbs in view of the byelections.This is challenged by the retail licensees as arbitrary and illegal.Hearing the petitions Justice Shankar said that without examining the validity of the circular concerned the court would not interfere with its operation.
