Load shedding schedule revised in Vellore

VELLORE: The Vellore division of the Tamil Nadu Power Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited has announced a two-hour load shedding schedule for the month of February.Under the 110/11 KVA Vellore substation, the following areas will shed load at the timings mentioned: Main bazaar, Long bazaar, Old Town, Thennamaratheru, Mulipalayam (6am to 8 am), Salvanpettai, Velapadi, Arni road, Vasanthapuram and Police quarters (8 am to 10 am); Thottapalayam and New bypass road (10 am to 12 noon); Old bypass road and Katpadi road (12 noon to 2 pm); Ariyur, Saduperi, Sirukanchi and Ramanayakanpalayam (2 pm to 4 pm); Shenbakkam, Konavattam and Karugamputtur, Seduvalai, Virinjipuram, Iyankadu, Poigai and Melmonavoor (4 pm to 6 pm).Under the Sathuvachari 110/11 KVA substation: Sathuvachari, Periya Sannadhi street, Nethaji Nagar (6 am to 8 am); Sriramnagar, Kagithapattarai, Thenralnagar and Saidapet (8 am to 10 am); Sathuvachari Phase 3, Gandhi Nagar (12 noon to 2 pm).Under Sathumadurai 110 KVA substation: Thuthipattu, Sivaramapuram, Idyansathu and Chitteri (6 am to 8 am); Kattupidi, Mettuidyampatti and Punganur (8 am to 10 am); Kaniyambadi, Sathumadurai and Nelvai (2 pm to 4 pm). Under Kilpallipattu 110 KVA substation: Samco (8 am to 10 am).Under 110/11 KVA Katpadi substation: Dharapadavedu and nearby areas (6 am to 8 am); Christianpettai and nearby areas (8 am to 10 am); Katpadi and nearby areas (10 am 12 noon); V G Rao and nearby areas (12 noon 2 pm); Kazhinjur and nearby areas (2 pm to 4 pm); Senur, Tamil Nadu Explosives Limited premises and nearby areas (4 pm to 6 pm).Under 110/11KVA Karnapattu substation: Kilminnal (8 am to 10 am); Brahmapuram (10 am to 12 noon); Karigiri (12 noon to 2 pm); Sugarmill (2 pm to 4 pm) and Arapakkam area (4 pm to 6 pm).
