Ludhiana resident receives a Rs 75 lakh electricity bill

Ludhiana: Ludhiana resident Ashok Goenka is running from pillar to post complaining against his electricity bill which amounts to a whopping Rs 75 lakh.

Goenka claims that he has made several rounds to the electricity board office but he has got no help whatsoever and no action has been taken to rectify the mistake.

According to Goenka, his power bill has always been around Rs 3,000 and it is an error on the part of the electricity board office to quote such an enormous amount in his bill.

"There is an error in the bill as my power bill is usually Rs 3000. I have complained to the electricity board office many times but the error has still not been rectified," said Goenka.
