CHENNAI: The Murugappa Group is organising the Murugappa Madras Quotient Quiz 2011 for school children as part of the Madras Week celebrations. Among the participants, three winning student teams will be awarded the top three school awards and prizes. There will many prizes to be won during the audience rounds, open to all. The Murugappa MQ Quiz will be conducted by renowned Quizmaster Dr Navin Jayakumar in association with the Quizzing Foundation of India and will cover trivia on celebrities, lifestyle, culture and more about Chennai. The Murugappa Group sponsored the mega event, Madras 350 Quiz, in 1989 to celebrate the 350th year of Madras. This year’s edition titled Murugappa Madras Quotient Quiz 2011 on August 28 at the Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Hall, Lady Andal School, Harrington Road will be concluding the week-long birthday celebrations of the city.
