Karnal, Haryana: The regional divide instigated by Raj Thackeray has spread to Haryana.

In the latest incident a Maharashtrian family living in Karnal has been threatned to leave Haryana.

Vijay and Kalpana Suryavanshi have been living in Karnal for the past 14 years.

They have stopped sending their three children to school out of fear of an attack.

The Haryana police has registered a case against some unknown people for threatening to kill the Suryavanshi family.

Police that they knew about this case from the newspapers and that they have approached the family.

Apparently, 2 men came to their house and asked them to leave. “Three men came to my house. One of them removed his pistol and threatened me. They said I must go back to Maharashtra,” says Kalpana Suryavanshi.

Few weeks back, Raj Thackeray’s MNS men had roughed up railway entrance exam students in Mumbai apparently because they were from north Indian states.

The incident followed a series of hate violence in some areas.

People in Bihar vehemently protested the act against the north Indians by the MNS.
