Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil in Mani Ratnam's next?

New Delhi: Actors of Malayalam cinema have always considered it as an honour when they have got a chance to act in a Mani Ratnam film. After Mammootty, Mohanlal, Manoj K Jayan, Shalini and Prithviraj, it seems actor Fahad Fazil has got an opportunity to work with Mani Ratnam.

If the latest rumours are to be believed, Mani Ratnam is scripting a film which will have Fahad Fazil in the lead. The film is still in the nascent stage but we hear Fahad is very keen to take up the project.

Knowing Mani Ratnam's craft, we don't blame Fahad's excitement at all. Besides Ratnam himself needs a good film to bounce back considering his last film 'Kadal' sank without a trace at the Box Office.
