Man who threatened KV Singhdeo held

BALANGIR: A team of Balangir police on Friday evening arrested a suspected Maoist, who had allegedly been giving threat calls to Patnagarh MLA KV Singhdeo. Police  said the man possessed the same mobile number from which he was calling Singhdeo. Police are investigating if the man had Maoist links and his motive behind giving the MLA threat calls twice.  Balangir SP Awinash Kumar said the arrested has confessed to  have called Singhdeo but interrogation is on to get to the root of the calls.
