Minor fire in building

A minor fire broke out on the top floor of a building in Palarivattom here on Sunday.

According to the Fire and Rescue Services Department, a paper-heap lying on the top floor of the building had caught fire, which later spread to the other parts of the building.

Two fire tenders were put into service to extinguish the fire.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
