Missing 4-year-old found dead in lake

HYDERABAD: A 4 year-old boy, who went missing on Tuesday, was found dead in Nalla Cheruvu lake near Medipally on Wednesday.The incident was reported in Medipally police limits on Wednesday afternoon.The boy's father Mallayya, a vendor, abandoned the boy at his relative's house on Tuesday.After Mallayya left, the boy followed him till Nalla Cheruvu but went astray from there as he was unable to find his way to his house.He has been missing since then.On Tuesday evening, Mallayya lodged a complaint on his missing son.Police said a passerby saw a body in the lake.When Mallayya was called to police station to recognise the body, he identified that it was his son’s body.Meanwhile, police suspect that Mallayya might have drowned his son as former's clothes were found on the lake's bund.
