Moolampilly evictees to get damageson June 16

KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will distribute benefits to the Moolampilly evictees according to the Moolampilly package, at a function to be held here on Thursday.In the first phase, the compensation will be given to 299 families.Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will preside over the meeting to be held at the St Augustine’s Parish Hall at Moolampilly.Union Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies K V Thomas will inaugurate the public meeting.Former Speaker V M Sudheeran will deliver the keynote address. Excise Minister K Babu, Works Minister V K Ebrahimkunju, Food and Civil Supplies Minister T M Jacob and former minister S Sarma will be the chief guests.MPs K P Dhanapalan, Charles Dias and P Rajeev, MLAs Hibi Eden, V D Satheesan, Dominic Presentation, Benny Behnan, Anwar Sadath, V G Sajeendran, Jose Thettayil, Saju Paul, T U Kuruvilla, Joseph Vazhakkan and Loudi Louis and district panchayat president Eldhose Kunnappilly will attend the meeting.
