Madhya Pradesh Assembly's budget session beginning on Monday is likely to be stormy with the Opposition planning to raise the MP Professional Board Examination scam in the House and treasury benches preparing hard to counter them.
The session is scheduled to continue till July 28, during which the state's budget will be passed.
During the BJP MLAs' recent training session in Khajuraho, state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed the party legislators not to remain defensive on the issue (of MPPEB scam) as the government has not done anything wrong. He asked them to be prepared to face Opposition in an offensive manner on the issue.
Leader of Opposition Satyadev Katare told PTI on Sunday, "We will raise all issues related to the public with full might in the Assembly." When asked about MPPEB scam, he said, "All issues in public interest (will be raised)."
