New Delhi: A new season of popular reality show MTV Roadies kicked off in Pune with auditions for contestants aspiring to be on the show that tests physical strength and team spirit.
The ninth edition of the show has the tag 'everything or nothing' replacing the 'shortcut to hell' motto of season 8.
The Pune auditions took place on September 16 and the official MTV Roadies website invited contestants from Mumbai, Thane and Panvel area to make a beeline to Pune. The Kolkata auditions took place on
September 20.
The Roadies auditions have become as entertaining as the main show. Candidates are known to brag, beg and bend over backwards to convince the judges that they deserve to be on the show.
Judges Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman have asked candidates to do handstands, sing songs and cross-dress. Often intimidating but sometime hilarious, the twin hosts are joined by MTV VJ-turned-anchor Rannvijay Singh.
