N Rangasamy meets Chidambaram

PUDUCHERRRY: Chief Minister N Rangasamy called on union home minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi and spent 30 minutes with him. He is expected to have discussed the appointment of three nominated MLAs to the territorial Assembly and other affairs, before meeting the planning commission for finalisation of plan allocation. The CM also called on the minister for housing and urban poverty alleviation, Kumari Selja,  and minister for petroleum and natural gas, S Jaipal Reddy. He had requested the minister to enhance the allocation of kerosene for distribution through PDS in the Union Territory.
