HYDERABAD: On his 63rd birthday which falls on April 20, Opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu will launch a protest against SEZ lands. Naidu has decided to join hands with the agitating farmers against Kakinada SEZ in East Godavari on that day.As per Naidu's 11-day schedule which was finalised on Saturday, Naidu will reach Kakinada on his birthday. He will stage a protest demonstration asking the government to return the arable lands to farmers. Naidu's fight is against forcible acquisition of land for SEZs by YS Rajasekhara Reddy's government. Naidu promised that his party men would resume fertile lands from private persons and return them back to the farmers. The issue would be incorporated in TDP's 2014 election manifesto.Naidu will participate in dharns and demonstrations at Uppada, Thondangi and Kottapalli mandals in Kakinada urging the State to return the lands to farmers so that they can revert to agriculture and earn a livelihood like in the past.Naidu, who kick-started his election campaign in Tirupati, is currently touring in Visakhapatnam district. He will tour Polavarm and Narasapuram Assembly segments on April 18 and 19. He will participate in the anti-liquor campaign in Vizianagaram on April 21 and expose PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana's 'involvement in liquor syndicate'.
