CHENNAI: To aid international passengers reach the city with more ease, the MTC has decided to make a few buses stop inside the international airport from now on. These routes will be in addition to the special mini buses that have been plying between the airport and Besant Nagar. According to airport sources, these buses will make a stop inside the international airport’s parking bay near the arrival lounge.But, they will only stop there between 5-7 am, with a frequency of one every 20 minutes.The bus routes that will drive through the airport will be 500, D18 and 21G mostly between Perungalathur/Vandalur Zoo and Broadway. These will be regular fare buses and not special a/c buses or deluxe buses.
