A monkey entered the district court premises in Indore and created panic among the officials, advocates and visitors on Tuesday. The rescue team of the  forest department rushed to the court premises on receiving information but the monkey climbed on the roof and escaped. The simian had also created problem in the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Monday.

Indore: Waive off pending power bill, demands 'Viklang Pragati Mandal’

A social organisation working for welfare of disabled persons, on Tuesday, approached the district collector for waiving off the electricity bill of the organisation's building. Activists associated with 'Viklang Pragati Mandal’ reached the district collector’s office during the weekly public hearing and pleaded for waiving off the power bills of Rs 39,717 pending against the organisation.

Bhopal: Congress workers protest against screening of ‘Nasha’

After facing protests at multiple locations over explicit scenes, Poonam Pandey-starrer Nasha faced yet another hurdle in its screening as few Congress workers staged a demonstration at Madhumilan theatre in Bhopal demanding that movie should not be shown. Over 12 Congress workers reached the theatre at around noon and started protesting against the screening of the movie.

Indore: Vacant seats at DAVV to be filled by Aug 7

Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) will be holding the third round of Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling at departmental level to fill up the remaining seats from August 7. Both CET and non CET candidates will be eligible to participate in the third counselling round. In the third counselling round, candidates can directly apply at the department where the seat is vacant. Officials said that seats are vacant in MBA (disaster management), M.Com (bank management), M.Com (accounts and financial control), and Bachelor of Journalism. The third round will be held to fill up the vacant 85 seats in these departments.
