BANGALORE: Law and Parliamentary affairs minister Sureshkumar on Friday said that no High Court order was violated in providing canteen and parking facilities in the vicinity of the High Court building.Speaking to reporters after holding a video conference to review the progress of works on court buildings and housing complexes for judges across the state, Suresh Kumar said that since the new canteen building was being built on the same site where the old one existed, it cannot be considered a new structure.The High Court has banned construction work within the precincts of Cubbon Park without its prior permission.On the parking facility being provided near the High Court, he said that the space between the High Court and the KGID Building will be used for parking about 400 vehicles. “We are not constructing any structure there.We will level the ground and put a tiled flooring to ensure smooth parking,” he said.
