One killed, another injured as teen opens fire

Muzaffarnagar: A woman was shot dead and another person injured when a 13-year-old boy allegedly opened fire at his brother over some minor issue at Sadharanpur village in the Saharanpur district, police said on Friday.

The boy Amit opened fire on Thursday at his younger brother Ankit, who had a narrow escape, Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar said.

In the fray, a 60-year-old woman Kamla got accidentally killed, while another woman Lalita was injured and admitted to a hospital in serious condition.

Police has registered a case against the absconding accused and the body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem.
