Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Arun Yadav demanded that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should hand over the MP Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam probe to the CBI after fresh revelations by the Special Task Force (STF).
"In the light of fresh revelations that has also pointed fingers at then personal secretary, Prem Prakash who was posted at the MP Chief Minister's residence in 2012, Chouhan should recommend a CBI probe into the scam which ruined the lives of a large number of aspirants," Yadav said in a statement in Bhopal on Sunday.
The MPPEB is mandated to conduct entrance examinations for various government jobs, besides Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering tests. Yadav said that as per latest revelations made by the STF after decoding computer hard disk of arrested systems analyst Nitin Mohindra, Prem Prakash had recommended clearing a candidate called Anita Kumari, who appeared in PMT-2012.
The MP State Congress President said that since it seemed to be a very big scam involving the high and mighty, especially after the latest revelation, it would be better if Chouhan recommended a CBI probe.
