Parking lot lessee can continue work

CHENNAI: G Ranganathan, proprietor of Business Leader, has been permitted to continue the lease for collection of fees for parking vehicles at the CMBT. Justice V Dhanapalan gave this direction while disposing of a writ petition from Ranganathan, on August 30. The judge directed the CMDA to permit the petitioner to continue to operate the lease on the conditions stipulated by them till any orders were passed by the HC on three other writ petitions or till the finalisation of the tender process, whichever was earlier.
