TUMKUR: The daughter of a petty shop owner topped the district and was among the top 20 in the state in Science stream in the II PUC examinations.Supriya S M is a student of Sarvodaya PU College. Her father S R Madhusudhan, is a former petty grocery shop owner. Supriya’s parents had both studied upto PUC but had dreams of their children pursuing higher education.Supriya scored 100 out of 100 in Electronics. “I will opt for any BE course in electronics and wish to scale great heights,” she told Express.She scored cent per cent in Physics followed by 98 each in Mathematics and Chemistry, 95 in English and 90 in Kannada. She said that she was a ‘‘night bird’ ’ as she preferred to study till late night.
