Photographer and family attacked

KOCHI: A news photographer and his family were attacked by a group of people at the Kadalvathuruthu Holy Cross Church on Saturday night. The injured persons were Metro Vartha chief photographer Manu Shelly, his father P C Shelly and mother Gracey Shelly. According to police officials, the incident occurred while Manu Shelly was bringing his parents home when they returned from a tour programme. The group of persons attacked Manu and the others with sticks. The police stated that they have received a complaint and that the investigation is on.
