The hallmark of the software is that the petitions can be registered at any stations and, if needed, can be transferred to the desired station on real time basis.In the next phase of the project, 42 touch-screen kiosks would be installed in the state by which the petitioner can check the status of theirpetition. The iAPS is aimed at computerising administrative work of all wings of the Police Department through an integrated web portal.By implementing the project, movement and management of files and record keeping can be computerised.
