HYDERABAD: The Telangana Students Joint Action Committee has demanded the state government to postpone the SI examination scheduled to be held on August 13 and 14 and take up the issue with the Centre for deletion of Clause 14 (f) from the Presidential Order.They warned that chief minister N Kiran Reddy would be held responsible for the consequences arising out of conducting the examin without deleting the controversial clause. The TSJAC delegation led by TJAC chairman M Kodandaram on Saturday called on the CM and requested him to postpone the examination for another 45 days. CM EXPLAINS The CM reportedly explained to them that postponement of the exam will not serve any purpose as no vacancies in Hyderabad were notified and that there was no scope for the T youth losing employment. Sources said about 18,300 candidates are competing for about 1,300 posts in the State.
