Mumbai: Yashraj Films recently launched a website for it's underproduction romantic comedy Pyaar Impossible. Featuring Priyanka Chopra along with Uday Chopra, the film is all about how a next-door-geek woos a glamorous, unattainable beauty.
And buzz is that Pyaar Impossible might just be a rip off of Hollywood's popular Julia Roberts - Hugh Grant starrer Notting Hill.
"Its not true the only similarity it has that Notting Hill and Pyaar Impossible have in common is that it's all about a geek and an unattainble woman. Otherwise Julia Roberts was a film star and here I am a normal ordinary girl," said Priyanka.
Well we hope that the makers would be making some changes to the original plot. The story and screenplay of the film is actually written by Uday Chopra himself.
"Its Uday's baby, he has also written it and he has a insight of this film in a big way. It's great knowing Uday, I hadn't known him before and it's great working with him," she said.
But what in the world would make Priyanka Chopra do a film with strugglers Uday Chopra and Dino Morea at this stage in her career?
"Jab maine is film ki script ko pada to mujhe laga ki yeh to mere saath bhi hua hai (when I read the script of the film, I thought that this has happened to me) and I think a lot of people will be able to see that this the reason I did the film," she said.
We suspect that a ticket to bigger projects with bigger stars in the Yashraj camp might have been a good reason too.
