BHUBANESWAR: Duronto Express, a new tri-weekly train between Sealdah and Puri, will be flagged off on Sunday. The train, which was announced in the last Railway Budget, will run as a special on the first day. Regular service of the train will start from February 14 from Puri, and from Sealdah from February 15. The 22202 Puri-Sealdah Duronto Express will leave Puri on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7.50 pm and arrive at Sealdah at 4 am the next day.On the return direction, 22201 Sealdah-Puri Duronto Express will leave Sealdah on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 pm and arrive at Puri at 4 am the next day. The train will have one AC 2-tier, four AC-3-tier and seven sleeper class coaches. There will be two guard-cum-luggage vans in the train having no commercial stoppage en route.NEW STOPPAGE: Meanwhile, the Railways has decided to provide additional stoppages for the Puri-New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan Express at Jaleswar from February 15 on an experimental basis for a period of six months. The New Delhi-bound train will arrive at Jaleswar at 4.09 pm and leave at 4.11 pm. In the return direction, it will arrive at Jaleswar at 7.21 am. The timings and stoppages of the train at all other stations will remain unchanged.Besides, the Railways has also decided to add two additional sleeper-class coaches to 12663/12664 Howrah-Tiruchchirapalli-Howrah Express beginning February 14 (from Tiruchchirapalli) and February 16 (from Howrah).
