New Delhi: Filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan is back with the sequel of their 2008 thriller and within two days of its release, the film has already minted Rs 35 crore.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "INDIA: #Race2 has a FANTABULOUS Saturday. Fri Rs 15.12 cr, Sat Rs 20.72 cr. Total: Rs 35.84 cr nett."
The film had earned Rs 15 crore on its opening day. Saif Ali Khan starrer is not just doing well in India but overseas as well. "UK: #Race2 Fri £ 94,626, Sat £ 138,931. Total: £ 233,557 [Rs 1.99 cr]. AUSTRALIA: #Race2 Fri A$ 41,861, Sat A$ 64,006. Total: A$ 105,867 [Rs 59.36 lacs]. NEW ZEALAND: #Race2 Fri NZ$ 22,752, Sat NZ$ 24,166. Total: NZ$ 46,918 [Rs 21.14 lacs]," Adarsh further added.
The film stars Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel.
