Rahulan was a common mans doctor: IMA

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has expressed deep condolence over the death of its former president Dr. K K Rahulan. Dr Rahulan was the president of the IMA state branch during 1983-1984 and his service was exemplary and unforgettable, said IMA state president Dr. G Vijayakumar and state secretary J Rajagopalan Nair in a statement here on Tuesday.Apart from the service in the medical field, Dr Rahulan had left his mark in various fields holding important posts such as the president of the Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad, vice-chairman of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, president of the SNDP Yogam, general council member of the   Kerala Sahitya Akademi, recalled the IMA office-bearers.Yet he was known more as a common man’s doctor, they said.
