Rain hits filling of potholes

BANGALORE: The heavy downpour on Thursday washed away the BBMP’s effort to fill potholes.According to a press release, around 400 potholes have been identified at Sarvajnanagar, HBR IV Block and Siddarthanagar, out of which only 150 were filled on Thursday along with a few potholes in Sanjaynagar Road, Vasanth Nagar, Shivajinagar Bus Stand and K R Circle.However, the initiative was stalled due to the heavy rain.BBMP had said that it would fill 7,000 potholes in the city by this month end.
