RGUHS to hold PG counselling from May 28

BANGALORE: Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) will conduct a new round of counselling for all Medical Postgraduate seats from May 28 to 30.In accordance with the High Court order, the university has decided to cancel the provisional allotment of seats made during the first round of counselling. "Pursuant to the orders of the High Court and other connected writ petitions dated May 26, 2011, the university is conducting a fresh counselling for Inservice and Entrance quota candidates for selection of seats in government colleges and government seats in private colleges for admission to postgraduate medical courses for the academic year 201112 from May 28 to 30," a statement by the university Registrar Dr D Prem Kumar said.After the court issued the order, Medical Education Minister S A Ramadas had intervened and instructed the university management to notify all eligible candidates about the rescheduling of the counselling.
