GUNTUR: The Guntur rural police have seized Rs 2.8 crore cash and 12,100 grams of gold ornaments during vehicle checks after the announcement of bypolls to Macherla and Prathipadu Assembly constituencies in the district. During vehicle checks, the urban police have seized Rs 1.7 crore cash so far. As many as 3,472 anti-socials in the district were bound over.
