Sailor of Indonesian cargo vessel found dead

KOCHI: A sailor of an Indonesian ship was found dead when the ship called at the Vallarpadom Container Transshipment Terminal here.The police said the sailor was identified as Allan Mundolu Bin, 56, of Indonesia.The cargo vessel was proceeding from South Africa to Australia.It was the port authorities who alerted the police about the incident. The fellow sailors submitted before the police that the body was found inside one of the cabins of the ship. They immediately alerted the nearest port about the incident.The body was later shifted to the General Hospital here for postmortem examination.
