New Delhi: That Samsung regularly seeks inspiration in the products from its American rival is no secret and in yet another example of Samsung-follows-Apple the Korean electronics giant announced the launch of gold-coloured Galaxy S4s.
The golden variants of Samsung's flagship smartphone will be initially be available in the Gulf countries. West Asia has a strong liking for gold, quite like India. But Samsung hasn't mentioned any plans of availability for other markets.
The golden Galaxy S4s will be available in two options - Gold Brown or Gold Pink.
Samsung unveiled the new colour options on the Samsung Gulf Facebook page and using the Samsung Mobile Arabia Twitter ID.
Apple's new flagship phone the iPhone 5s is also available in a golden variant.
