The Oscar-winner received the 2,410th star at the ceremony
London: British actor Sir Ben Kingsley unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 27.
The Oscar-winner, who was knighted in 2002, received the 2,410th star at the ceremony as hundreds of fans turned out to applaud the actor's achievements, contactmusic.com reported.
"Dear friends, standing here today amongst you is one of the many things I thought growing up in England that would never happen to me and it has and I'm thrilled," he said.
Actor Bruce Willis who shared screen with Kingsley in crime thriller Lucky Number Slevin was there to congratulate him.
