Trainee IAS officer from Bihar dies in road mishap
Three other trainee IAS officers and the vehicle driver were seriously injured in the accident near Dala village on the Moga-Barnala road.

Moga: A trainee IAS officer died on Wednesday and three others were injured after their vehicle met with an accident in Moga district of Punjab on Wednesday morning. The tragic incident in which trainee IAS officer Nishant Kumar from Bihar was killed took place near Dala village on the Moga-Barnala road.

The three other trainee IAS officers and the driver of the vehicle have been seriously injured. The officers were going to Takhtupura when their vehicle hit a tree near Dalla village on Moga-Barnala road on Wednesday morning.

Nishant Kumar belonged to Begusarai in Bihar and had been given his home cadre. The injured officers are Shashi Ranjan from Jharkhand's Ranchi, Ajit and Harsh Kumar while the driver is Raj.

Moga SSP Kamaljit Singh Dhillon said the officers were returning to village Takhtupura from Jalandhar when the accident took place.
