Amitabh Bachchan is replaced by Salman Khan as the host of Bigg Boss season 4. The show which promises immense drama inside the house among the inmates will be closely monitored by the new big boss Salman Khan. During Dus Ka Dum, the actor was at his spontaneous best, honest and blunt with the participants, which made the show very entertaining.
He proved that at the press conference of Colors last evening. When asked about the kind of interaction he will have with the inmates, Salman quipped, “I am good with inmates. I have practiced that,” referring to his stay in the jail few years back.
Earlier, Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan have hosted the show in their own style. It was not clear if the actor was taking a dig on Shilpa. He says, “Shilpa and Amitabh have hosted the show earlier. I will try to be better than Shilpa,” a statement which left everyone stunned for a moment.
Also, he didn’t mention Arshad Warsi in the list of hosts and refrained from using Amitabh Bachchan’s name as far as possible.
The actor confessed that he loved all the seasons of Bigg Boss. “I loved watching Bindu cry,” jokes Salman.
Break toh banta hai boss, is the dialogue Salman said on Dus Ka Dum to go for a short break. When asked about the line that he will use in Bigg Boss, the actor shot back saying, “Break toh banta hai big boss,” which left everyone in splits.
Amitabh gave the recent IIFA awards a skip but Salman attended the event and also gave an energetic dance performance. And now, when Big B signed KBC, Salman Khan replaced him. When asked if he is intentionally going to places where Amitabh is not seen he says, "Amitabh had some trouble with the Tamilians with reference to Raavan and Robot, that's why he didn't go. And as far as the show is concerned, we are just swapping places."
Bigg Boss season 4 will go on floors later this year.
