Married to her non-celebrity husband for four years, Lee Yeon Hee is now set to embrace motherhood. The couple, who got married in June 2020, is excited to start their family. On June 7 (KST), Lee Yeon Hee’s agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed the news to various media outlets with a formal statement, asking fans for their blessings and support.
“A precious new life is on the way for Lee Yeon Hee and her family. We ask for your warm blessings and support,” the statement read as quoted by Koreaboo.

The actress also took to her Instagram handle and reaffirmed the news with a handwritten note. “A precious life has come to me for which I feel so grateful and blessed. I was wondering what time would be best to share this news, but now I thought it was a good time to share, so I decided to say this. Actually, everything is still amazing and doesn’t feel real, but I’m trying to spend each day in good condition. I hope the fans I love so much will celebrate together. I am looking forward to the birth of a beautiful baby this September. I hope you will bless my family and wish us good health. I hope you stay healthy this summer, which is getting hotter. Beginning her career in 2004, she followed up with music videos. Lee Yeon Hee got her first major role in the mini-series One Fine Day alongside the popular actor Gong Yoo.
