Here are 6 Holi colours inspired cocktails by Chef Gautam Mehrishi, Corporate Executive Chef, Club Mahindra. Cheers to a colorful and flavorful celebration!

Orange – Tamarind Tequila Sunrise:

Ingredients:

60 ml tequila

120 ml orange juice

30 ml tamarind syrup (prepared with tamarind paste and sugar)

Splash of grenadine

Orange slice and maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions:

Fill a glass with ice cubes.

Pour tequila and orange juice over the ice.

Stir in the tamarind syrup.

Slowly pour grenadine over the back of a spoon so it sinks to the bottom, creating a gradient effect.

Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.

Violet- Jamun Magic:

Ingredients:

60 ml gin

3-4 ripe jamuns (Indian black plums), deseeded and squashed

15 ml lemon juice

15 ml honey or simple syrup

Club soda

Ice cubes

Instructions:

In a glass, muddle mashed jamuns with lemon juice and honey.

Add gin and fill the glass with ice cubes.

Top with club soda and stir gently.

Garnish with a slice of jamun.

Gulab Sangria

Ingredients:

750 ml bottle rosé wine

120 ml rose syrup

60 ml brandy

Mixed fresh fruits (like strawberries, raspberries, and orange slices)

Edible rose petals for garnish

Instructions:

In a large pitcher, combine rosé wine, rose syrup, and brandy.

Add mixed fresh fruits to the pitcher.

Stir gently to combine.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

Serve over ice and garnish with edible rose petals.

Melancia Delight:

Ingredients:

60 ml tequila

30 ml watermelon juice

15 ml lime juice

15 ml simple syrup

Pinch of chaat masala

Slice of jalapeño (optional)

Chilli Powder or salt for rimming

Instructions:

Rim a glass with Tajin or salt by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into Chilli powder or salt.

In a shaker, combine tequila, watermelon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and chaat masala.

Add a slice of jalapeño for extra spice if desired.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake well.

Strain into the prepared glass over ice.

Garnish with a slice of watermelon or lime.

Mangloco:

Ingredients:

60 ml vodka or rum

90 ml mango lassi (prepared with ripe mangoes, yogurt, milk, and sugar)

15 ml lime juice

Dash of cardamom powder

Ice cubes

Saffron strands for garnish

Instructions:

In a shaker, combine vodka or rum, mango lassi, lime juice, and cardamom powder.

Add ice cubes and shake well.

Strain into a glass filled with ice.Garnish with saffron strands for a touch of yellow.

Pepino Cooler:

Ingredients:

45 ml gin

3 slices of cucumber

6-8 fresh mint leaves

15 ml lime juice

15 ml simple syrup

Club soda

Cucumber slice and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions:

In a glass, muddle cucumber slices and mint leaves.

Add gin, lime juice, and simple syrup.

Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Top with club soda and stir gently.

Garnish with a cucumber slice and mint sprig.
