Malaika Arora jetted off to Melbourne a few days back to attend the 2024 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). She has been documenting her time in Australia on Instagram. In one of her posts shared on a photo-sharing application, the diva is seen rocking two ensembles on Day 1 of the festival. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Hello Melbourne. Day1 #iffm @iffmelbourne.”
In the first few pictures, Malaika Arora gave us a glimpse of her time as she explored Melbourne with Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Lakshya Lalwani, Kabir Khan and others. For her causal day out, Malaika picked an OOTD that was a perfect blend of chic elements and comfortable style. Her outfit comprised a tweed blazer and skirt set in the tan shade. A closer look at her blazer, we notice an oversized fitting, notch lapels, full-length sophisticated sleeves, padded shoulders, an open front and curved hems for boardroom style with a mix of pretty girl vibes. Her pleated mini skirt came with a low waistline which she highlighted with a black leather belt.

For further styling, Malaika Arora wore a black cropped sweater underneath the blazer. A ribbed design, a turtle neckline, and a cropped midriff-baring hem included were all the features incorporated in her sweater. Adding a luxe touch was her red handbag. She rounded off her look with a pair of black leather thigh-high boots that added a classy appeal to her overall look. She made sure to keep it glam with minimal makeup and a messy low bun, hitting all the right notes when it comes to the fashion department.
Moving on to Malaika’s other look for the opening night of IFFM, celebrity stylist Tanya Ghavri dressed her in a sindoori red saree, grabbed from Jayanti Reddy Couture. With a pre-pleated silhouette and a pallu draped on the shoulder, the saree made Malaika look like an absolute diva. To complete her look, she wore a statement blouse adorned with zari embroidery. The quarter-length sleeves, and a deep neckline perfectly balanced the sophistication and oomph factors.
To accessorise her look, she decked up in a choker necklace, a multi-layered Kundan necklace, bangles, kadhas and earrings. Her gold eye shadow, mascara-adorned lashes, winged eyeliner, berry lip shade, rouge-tinted cheeks and a centre-parted bun perfected the look.
