Coming to the Jigra trailer, it starts with Satya Anand (played by Alia Bhatt) receiving a late-night call informing her that her brother, Ankur Anand (played by Vedang Raina), has been detained in a foreign country. Alia Bhatt, who was visibly confused and worried, asked him if he’s done anything wrong and if his blood tests will be clean. The scene then shifts to show Ankur in a courtroom, unable to understand the language, as he’s taken into custody.

Determined to save her brother, Alia sets off on a mission and pledges to break Ankur out of prison after he is sentenced to death. The trailer then shows Alia travelling to the country where her brother is being held, and she begins her fight to get him released.

We can watch Alia in action-packed avatars as she performs daring stunts, evades guards and takes extreme measures to save her brother, who is being tortured in jail. Though she faces several roadblocks at every turn, the movie depicts how she refuses to give up.

Directed by Vasan Bala, the action thriller also features Rahul Ravindran, Manoj Pahwa and others in key roles. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions. Mark your calendars! The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 11. It will be clashing with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
