Actress Ankita Lokhande, Sushant Singh Rajput's Pavitra Rishta co-star and ex, talked about the FIR lodged against Rhea Chakraborty, in a recent interview. Ankita and Sushant had dated for almost six years from 2010 to 2016.
Talking to Times Now, Ankita said that she did not know Rhea. “I have no idea about Rhea. I don’t know where they met. But I am sure that they were in a relationship. I know that he is a very emotional guy, whatever bond he shared with her.”
Sushant's father KK Singh has filed a seven page FIR at the Rajiv Nagar Police station in Patna against Rhea, questioning discrepancies in Sushant's bank statements. Ankita said that she learnt about this while talking to Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kriti.
Talking about the FIR, Ankita said,“If papa has done this FIR then I am very sure that they have their proofs about these transactions. I stand by my family and that’s the most important thing for me.”
Recently, Ankita had shared a cryptic post, which said "Truth Wins," after the FIR was lodged in Patna.
The FIR in question against Rhea under various sections, including abetment to suicide, after the intervention of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. IPC sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306 have been imposed by the Patna police. A four member team is in Mumbai for further investigation in the case.
