Renowned filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently launched the trailer of the live-action film, Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan at a big event in Mumbai. Originally, it was slated to hit the theatres on May 24. Now after getting postponed, it will grace the big screens on May 31. Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan, directed by Rajiv Chilaka, first released in 2012. Now, the makers decided to introduce the audience, especially the kids with the first live-action adaptation of the popular animated show. It is once again directed and co-produced by Rajiv Chilaka. The film is written by Niraj Vikram and co-produced by Srinivas Chilakalapudi, along with Bharath Laxmipati. The trailer showcases that Dholakpur is once again in serious trouble and there is destruction in the village, caused by villain Damyaan and his curse. In such a situation, Chhota Bheem and his friends embark on yet another thrilling journey to protect the village from Damyaan and save the people. What makes the film highly anticipated is the fact that it brings a new dimension to the story and offers a fresh experience to viewers.
Actor Anupam Kher dropped the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “Chhota Bheem Trailer: Chhota Bheem and his Sena have arrived to take you for an enthralling ride. The trailer of Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan is here! Bringing back all the joy and excitement together in cinemas on May 31st! Jai Ho.”
The film stars Anupam Kher as Guru Shambhu, Makarand Deshpande as Skandhi and Yagya Bhasin as Bheem. Kabir Sheikh will step in the role of Kalia, Advik Jaiswal will portray Raju, Daivik Davar will essay the role of Dhol and Divyam Davar as Bholu. Aashriya Mishra will be seen as Chutki, Surabhi Tiwari as Tuntun Mausi and Swarna Pandey as Indumati.
Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan is set to hit theatres on May 31, 2024. Fans of the film are eagerly awaiting its release, to once again refresh their memories of the animated show.
