At the 70th National Film Awards, ‘Brahmastra’ made a powerful statement by securing multiple prestigious accolades

Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra has completed two years. The film, which was loved by fans and critics, took a very long time to complete. Well, on this special day, an old video of Ayan Mukerji has surfaced in which he revealed that he did not want Alia and Ranbir to be spotted together. Yes, you are reading right. In 2021, when the poster of the film was released, a big event was organised. Ayan Mukerji revealed that he was not happy with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor being spotting together. As Brahmastra was Alia and Ranbir’s first collaboration, Ayan wanted their pair to be fresh for the audience. He said, “So then I didn’t want the whole world to see them for these four years. I didn’t want anybody to see them until my film had not come out.” Ayan shared, “So, lots of things haven’t happened in their lives because every time they would go out together, I would be sitting at the back saying, ‘You all are ruining my film. Please don’t go anywhere.'” At the event, he added that it felt good to share the pair with the world.

Dharma Productions also shared a special post on its second anniversary. They posted a video showcasing powerful scenes from the film and wrote, “A film celebrating a triumph of love & light over darkness.” The caption stated, “Love & light forever and more!
