Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s political action-drama Game Changer has generated a lot of excitement since it was announced. The much-anticipated Telugu-language film is set to be released in theatres on December 20. After releasing the film’s first single, Jaragandi, earlier this year, the makers captivated the audience by releasing its second single, Raa Macha Macha, on Monday.
The makers of Game Changer unveiled the lyrical video for the dance number Raa Macha Macha, which is Dam Tu Dikhaja in Hindi, on Saregama’s social media channels. In the 4-minute-42-second video, Ram’s stylish character is seen descending from a chopper in the middle of a crowd. The peppy dance number also showcases several folk artists shaking their legs alongside the film’s lead actor.
Notably, Ram Charan is also seen recreating his father Chiranjeevi’s iconic veena step from the song Dayi Dayi Damma. The same lyrical video also featured some behind-the-scenes clips from the making of Raa Macha Macha. Thaman S composed and programmed the foot-tapping song, Anantha Sriram wrote the lyrics, and Nakash Aziz sang it.
After Ram Charan shared a sneak peek of his high-voltage dance steps in the lyrical video of Raa Macha Macha on his Instagram account, his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, didn’t miss the opportunity to hype him up. She wrote, “Mr C you are generating high-voltage electricity." The 39-year-old actor also got a compliment from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who said, “Unmatchable," and further added, “I mean who dances like this in a formal shirt and pants.."

As reported by News18 earlier, Game Changer’s director S Shankar opened up about working with Ram Charan and Thaman S. He said, “It was a pleasure working on Game Changer with superstar Ram Charan and music director S Thaman. I requested Thaman to compose an introductory song for Ram Charan. We both wanted to do something different. We spent a lot of time discussing and exchanging ideas. We thought it would be great to make a song depicting the culture of Andhra Pradesh. We did a lot of research on it."
The director also mentioned that folk dances like Gusadi, Kommu Koya and Tappeta Gullu from Andhra Pradesh will be featured in the second song of Game Changer. Moreover, he shared that other dance forms like West Bengal’s Chhau, Odisha’s Ghumura, Ranappa, Paiki, and Durua, and Karnataka’s Vokkaliga, Goravara Kunitha, and Hattari will also be showcased in the song.
Apart from Telugu, Game Changer will also be released in Tamil and Hindi.
